Advisory Board
Drawn from a diverse range of fields and backgrounds, the Winchester Thurston School Advisory Board is comprised of leaders in civic and political life, education, youth and human development, nonprofit management and foundations, the arts, science and technology, business and commerce, health and wellness, ethics, and international issues. Its overarching purpose will be to help the school envision itself in the year 2020-looking well beyond the current, exploring societal topics and issues important in their effect on schools. These explorations are designed to involve Winchester Thurston's faculty and administration so that the Advisory Board serves as a resource for new thinking and ideas that can be incorporated into ongoing planning, curriculum development, and strategic decision making. The group meets twice a year.
