May Term
Winchester Thurston's Upper School seeks to provide its students with not only a traditional academic background but also the opportunity to explore topics of interest that are not found in the typical high school curriculum.
May Term, a week-long series of mini courses-was created to introduce Upper School students to programs, topics, and activities that they might encounter during their college experience, as well as in their lives and careers. The concept is one often employed by colleges and universities, allowing for independent learning and free choice of study.
Offerings are as diverse as the student and faculty body itself, and vary somewhat from year to year. Click here for a complete course listing and descriptions.
