Upper School Campus Life

Upper School Philosophy
The Upper School is dedicated to educating future citizens of the world who are able to make decisions and provide leadership from a strong intellectual and ethical basis. Our faculty strive to instill in all students a lifelong love of learning, particularly in a world of rapid change.

Advisory Program
WT recognizes the importance of providing support to all students, especially those entering Upper School for the first time. That is why our Advisory Program matches each student with a faculty advisor over his or her four-year Upper School experience.

While students are encouraged to seek out assistance from any faculty member, the Advisory Program:

• Provides students with another personal resource on which they can depend
• Provides the opportunity for students to interact one-on-one with a faculty member outside of class
• Allows for each student to work as a member of an Advisory group, a smaller community within the greater WT community.
