Designed to provide a unique, nurturing, child-centered learning environment, the North Hills Campus in Allison Park is scaled to the growing minds, hearts, and bodies of young learners in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5, in its facilities and its programs.
With one class section of 15-18 students per grade, the North Hills Campus is, at its heart, a community guided by our school credo, "Think also of the comfort and the rights of others." From the earliest days of school, each child is known as an individual by the faculty, and valued as an important participant in an intimate learning environment that encourages intellectual, aesthetic, and ethical development and achievement. Teachers encourage students to develop their strengths and passions within the context of a college preparatory program that prepares them for the rigors of middle and upper schools and the unscripted world.
The natural setting provides a place of imagination and wonder as well as a dynamic laboratory for experiential and interdisciplinary learning in science and mathematics, social studies and language arts, and the fine arts. The school's award winning buildings are situated on seven acres of rolling farmland that feature a spring-fed pond, woodlands, rustic gardens, and a natural playground built in 2008-2009 by the faculty, parents, and students.
